On Thursday, Oct. 8th, we launched our first official Juicy Wise Women session, honoring Ruth Bader Ginsberg (the Notorious Juicy Wise Woman.) What a beautiful gathering! We pondered the admirable qualities of this remarkable woman and shared observations about ourselves, leading to the often surprising awareness that each of us, in many ways, expresses RBG qualities in our everyday lives. It's empowering to consider that we share qualities of greatness that we admire in a great woman! Thank you, RBG, for paving the way in so many ways! ~ R.I.P. ~

IN THE STEPS OF RBG
So let me take one step right now,
One step toward respect.
And give me strength to take another
Toward clarity. And though
My feet might feel like stones
Let me take another step toward justice.
And another toward equity
And another toward truth.
And though my legs
May feel leaden and slow,
Wise may step on my toes,
May I inch toward a bridge.
And as I go, may I find joy in
Grace in the edging toward great change.
But if there’s little joy let me
Then take another step.
