Meet the Juicy Wise Women
Dee GoldDee Gold, MA, ERYT-500 has a bachelor's degree in clinical psychology and a master of arts in creative arts therapy, specializing in dance/movement. She has earned the highest certification available to yoga instructors and has written an award winning book on the creative art of yoga. Dee’s passion is helping people embrace challenging life transitions and guiding them in their search for wholeness, authenticity, and spiritual grounding. Dee has led hundreds of students in powerful classes and workshops. For ten years, she offered Full Moon Gatherings in her studio for women who wanted to share with kindred spirits their hopes and fears, their tears and laughter, and their interest in living life to the fullest. The first Juicy Wise Women course, in 2016, was an outgrowth of these moon gatherings. The 10-week course was a wild success! In her recent conversations with women over 50, Dee has determined it’s time to resurrect and enhance the Juicy Wise Women course. Joining forces with Sharon Kingsley and Yolanda Martinez, Dee is excited to inspire women 50 and over to “support and empower each other and to step into our identities as Juicy Wise Women, dancing our joyful dance and making our joyful noise.”

YOLANDA MARTINEZYolanda Martinez is of Apache, Comanche, and Spanish heritage. She is an award winning Artist, Singer, Composer, and Master Drum Maker. Yolanda has led “Moon Lodge Gatherings” for hundreds of women of all ages across the U.S. Her mission is to help women awaken to their power, a power gifted to all women by Great Spirit and Earth Mother. Yolanda smiles when she says she’s earned a Ph.D. in the School of Life. She has truly earned that status, from working in the corporate world of real estate for 20 years to becoming the first fisherwoman to work on a commercial fishing boat in Kodiak, Alaska, to struggling as a single parent to a beautiful daughter, to vanquishing a life threatening illness by learning to listen to the guidance of Great Spirit. Yolanda is a gifted teacher and guide with a positive attitude. She wants women to listen to their bodies, be guided by Spirit, and nourish themselves with the many gifts from Earth Mother. Ask Yolanda her philosophy and she will say, “Life is a joyful journey and we must all be grateful to be on it!”

SHARON KINGSLEYSharon Kingsley, M.S. has a passion for education. Her degree in education set her on her path toward sharing her knowledge and wisdom. She taught primary school for 25 years, creating for her students a safe space to grow, laugh, freely explore and learn. In 2018, Sharon retired from teaching and decided to expand her personal education. Having cared for critically ill family members for years, she found herself drawn to spiritually informed healing practices. Sharon credits her 20-year yoga and meditation journey, under the tutelage of Dee Gold, for awakening her to the healing powers of the body, mind and spirit. She turned to the study of Reiki, a form of natural healing, with Rev. Ana Jones and became a certified, second degree Reiki practitioner. More recently, Sharon has become a student of Native American music and drumming, as a healing modality, under the expert guidance of Yolanda Martinez. Sharon is excited to reach out to women over 50 to share the good news that “We are all juicy wise women!”
